Open a browser on your phone to see and operate your computer. Nothing to install on the phone, and a tablet or another computer works too.

Start in three steps

  1. 1

    Turn it on at the computer

    In LaiCai Screen Mirroring, choose Tools → Control Helpers → Remote Control This Computer and switch on “Allow remote control from other devices”.

  2. 2

    Open your account on the phone

    Sign in to the same account at laicaiapp.com in your phone’s browser and open “Control my computer”.

  3. 3

    Pick the computer and control it

    Choose a computer marked “Ready to control” and select Control. The computer screen appears on your phone.

How you operate the computer from your phone

Tap the computer screen

Tap with one finger to click there, press and hold then drag to drag, and use two fingers to zoom and pan.

Touchpad and buttons

Slide one finger to move the cursor and two fingers to scroll. Hold the left or right button to press it and release to lift.

Type with your phone keyboard

What your input method produces is typed on the computer as is, including other languages.

Common shortcuts

Copy, paste, undo, switch app, and close window, plus Esc, Tab, arrow keys, and F1–F12.

Safety and limits

  • Only devices signed in to the same LaiCai account can control your computer.
  • While someone is controlling, a banner appears at the top of the computer screen; click it to disconnect.
  • Switching off “Allow remote control from other devices” on the computer stops all devices from connecting.
  • The lock screen, system security prompts, and on Windows, windows running as administrator cannot be controlled.

Questions and answers

Do I need to install an app on my phone?

No. The controlling device only needs a browser signed in to your LaiCai account. Only the computer you control needs LaiCai Screen Mirroring.

Does remote control cost anything?

The computer you control needs active Premium. If it does not have Premium when you turn on remote control, the purchase window opens.

Can someone else control my computer?

Only devices signed in to the same LaiCai account can see and control your computer. To block connections, switch off “Allow remote control from other devices” on the computer.

My account says remote control is off. What should I check?

Make sure the computer is on and online, LaiCai Screen Mirroring is running, and “Allow remote control from other devices” is on. On a Mac, also grant Screen Recording and Accessibility.

Install LaiCai Screen Mirroring on your computer first

Sign in and turn on remote control, then connect to this computer from your phone’s browser.
