Cursor Stick Gamepad Mapping
Map a gamepad analog stick to a separate pointer for clicking Android game buttons, then toggle back to normal camera control when the pointer is not needed.
Add a Cursor Stick mapping
Open Input Mapping and click Add New Mapping. Choose Gamepad as the input type and Cursor Stick as the Mapping Behavior.
Choose the analog stick
Input Source can be LS or RS. This example uses the right stick, RS. If RS already controls Camera Stick, Cursor Stick will temporarily take over that same stick while enabled.
Assign the toggle and click buttons
Toggle Button turns Cursor Stick on or off; this example uses RB/R1, but you can assign any convenient gamepad button. Click Button works like the left mouse button; this example uses South/A/B.
Place the Cursor marker
Open Overlay Layer. The Camera Stick and Cursor markers may overlap, so move the Cursor marker to the center or another suitable position while keeping the existing camera mapping separate.
Control and click with the gamepad
Press the Toggle Button to show the mapped pointer in the mirrored game view. This pointer is separate from the computer mouse pointer. Move it with the selected analog stick, then press the Click Button to activate an in-game button.
Return to Camera Stick
Press the Toggle Button again to disable Cursor Stick. The analog stick then returns to its original Camera Stick function. Enable Cursor Stick again whenever you need the gamepad-controlled pointer.
Keep pointer and camera control separate
Test the Toggle Button, pointer movement, Click Button, and restored camera control before saving the mapping for regular use.
